Thank you for requesting space through the Student Engagement and Campus Life Event Planning Office. Generally, requests will be processed within (3) business days.
If the request is approved, it should be noted that all major venue reservations require a meeting or consultation with an Event Planning Advisor at least 30 business days prior to the reservation date to confirm the details of your event and to complete the necessary paperwork. You would need to come to the meeting prepared with the following information:
Reservations can be cancelled via the web app until 20 days prior to the scheduled start time of your reservation. After that time, you would need to go in person to the Event Planning Office (221 Squires Student Center), or send an email to eventplanning@vt.edu, directly from your vt.edu email account.
